Christmas has come and gone, which means it's officially safe for me to buy things for myself. Like this.

Guess who got a superawesome nondenominational holiday present? Zelempa did!

yolsaffbridge podficced my SGA fic, Rock, Paper (No Scissors)! It is available as mp3 on a new podfic page made for the occasion, which you can get to by clicking right here. Hearing someone else read something you have written is both delightful and slightly discomforting (in a good way).

ETA As Y never updates her journal, I guess you should feedback here, if you want to! She'll see it. I'll start you off. Yolsaffbridge has done the impossible in reading, clearly and pleasantly, a story which, as it turns out, is about 90% meandering garden-path sentences with twenty thousand clauses apiece, because, apparently, that is how I write. (See what I did there?) Also, while she's mostly American-sounding, she has a charming hint of an accent which is just enough to keep you guessing if you don't know, as I do, that she is Vulcan.

I wrote a Sentinel recap! I did! But my website won't let me upload it!

In the meantime, here's the bullety recap of the latest SGA. I was playing Scrabble while I watched and wrote, so it may not make sense. Or be accurate. Overall, I found this episode slightly philosophically annoying and, more importantly, a waste of a perfectly good premise. It's been done much better in fic.
