I adore this episode and have watched it many, many times. I could have done with the bit they CUT FROM THE FREAKING SCRIPT where Jim and Blair share a 'manly hug' after the rescue with Blair all groggy and scared; we had the hurt; I want my comfort, dammit.

Cut to Jim in the gym.

But... but... he's all sweaty and pumping iron and then topless! Come on; drool with me here :-)

The nipple ring, from the way Blair gestures, is on his left one, so it could be there; don't we see more of his right side in the Christine shots? It's not there in Iceman, but he'd have taken it off to put the Kevlar on, I guess.

I think what I'm saying here is that I believe in the ring :;claps hard::

i met a guy at Escapade who'd worked on the (goddamned awful) Demon Under Glass with GM. he actually asked GM if he had a nipple ring and GM said he'd had both nipples pierced. so that's where the ad lib came from.

which, to me, makes the nipple ring/s canon. ::nods:: yes sirree, Bob!
