It KIND OF seems like they were joking around about the nipple ring. But I really want to believe in it, too. You're right that we mainly see his right side in that scene. Still, I wonder why Blair was all feigning surprise that Jim knew about his nipple ring since he was open-shirted in front of him, like, two nights ago. Yet the implication that Jim has been sneaking looks at him naked is delightful.

Sorry, I forgot to stop to drool. :( I blame vidding. I gratuitously used that shot in my vid, so it was like it had already been done!

I think you could totally make a case for it being an ad-libbed joke by RB and GM playing off it ::pets them lovingly; oh, boys:: but I get off on the nipple ring and all the interesting smutty possibilities and after all IT'S CANON, BAYBEE. ::beams happily:;

Blair is just so the kind of guy who would have a nipple ring. I always feel disoriented when I read fic that specifically *doesn't* have it (not as in he took it out for some reason, but as in Never Had It In The First Place).

I do love the idea of it being an RB ad-lib to GM, though. (If they'd just been allowed to ad-lib 90% of the time... ::moans::)

To be fair, in the context of the episode, it is pretty clear he is talking about the adventure, but he seriously does the shifty look-around first, and lowers his voice like it's a big secret! Any time that happens and the first words out of his mouth are "Last night..." what am I supposed to think?
