Oh, I loved this, the characterizations were right on target. But I'm confused what does the letters mean, It was something like ir:tr or something like that. And I'm not sure if I got all the story or not. The last part was the email Rodney sent to John and he doesn't know where John is and he wants to fix the email. Is that where the story is supposed to end? Artistic like and ambivelent ending? And congratulations. The story transported me to the prison with both of them, totally making me forget the 101 chores I ought to be doing. Laurie
You're talking about tl;dr, which means "too long; didn't read." I probably should have included an explanatory note, as a lot of people seemed to have trouble with that. It was less well known an acronym than I thought. :/
Believe it or not, that is the less-ambivalent-ending version. :) I like to think that when Rodney writes "you can thank me when I get there" he means he is going to see John and there will be a lovely off-screen reunion.
