My first vid in a year; my second ever; and my first using Virtual Dub and Premiere instead of Windows Movie Maker. Yay!

ETA: I have been watching other people's Jim/Blair vids, and I can't even *BELIEVE* all the gay stuff that happens after season 1. CANNOT.

* Jim gives Blair mouth-to-mouth
* Blair faints or something and Jim cradles his head and rocks him
* They go to a nice restaurant together
* They take a long walk on a beach
* They hang out in a room filled with candles
* Jim kisses Blair on the forehead
* They kiss each other on or near the mouth (ON AT LEAST THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS)
* They hold hands for like ten minutes
* Seriously, just holding hands, swingin' em between each other, like that's something people do.

And I've watched the vid now and I love it too; such an unusual song and it fits them perfectly. I liked that you went for some lesser-used clips, too; made it feel very fresh.

Do you know where one can acquire recordings of 2-4th seasons? Only the first is out on DVD and now I really want to re-watched the rest. For all the gay. :)

Thanks! I went for some lesser used clips largely because I only have season 1 to work with, and I hadn't actually seen other Sentinel vids yet so I didn't know what was standard. (Not that you try to conform when you've seen other people's vids, but scenes you've seen over and over tend to come to mind more.)

That said, there are certain things you can't NOT use. Jim holding Blair's face for no reason? What? People don't do that to each other. Not people who aren't in love, but /not people who are either./ And I think that's one of the funnest things about this pairing, really. They're strangely intimate in ways nobody else on earth ever has been.

Yeah, I like premier, except it's just slightly too much for my computer to handle, so I have to restart it a lot. But I guess that's not 100% its fault.

What I really like is Virtual Dub--so tiny! so powerful! so free! And useful whether you're putting the clips together in WMM or AP.
