From the description of the new Nightrunner book coming out June 24 (emphasis mine):

After their victory in Aurënen, Alec and Seregil have returned home to Rhíminee. But with most of their allies dead or exiled, it is difficult for them to settle in. Hoping for diversion, they accept an assignment that will take them back to Seregil’s homeland. En route, however, they are ambushed and separated, and both are sold into slavery.

Ohhhhh, angst. :D

Comments discussion of Lynn Flewelling's Nightrunner books on a previous post reminded me that I actually have a ton of recap-like writing on them (the first two books, anyway). Posted. (The navigation is nonexistent; you'll just have to use your back button to get from one page to the next.)

Will I do the last book? Probably not. The first two form an arc which is satisfactorily concluded. Also, I don't like the third book as much. Sure, it's established relationship, and that's nice, but there's all that boring politics with the elves. (Sorry, Aurenfaie.)

Nysander calls Alec "dear boy."
