I'm reading Middlemarch, and I never really loved Will Ladislaw before, but I just realized that he is kind of RayK (impulsive! emotional! wrong-side-of-the-tracks! Polish!) and Dorothea is totally Fraser (duty-bound! honour-bound! kind of masochistic!) I tried to extend the metaphor but I think that makes RayV Mr. Casaubon, and just no.
