Do you think it's a good idea to have pairing pages in addition to character pages on the fanlore wiki?

This is an example I made.

On the one hand, you could make a theoretically pairing page for any combination of characters, so it could quickly get out of hand. On the other, I think certain pairings (the very or weirdly popular--I think we need a page to explain the Porne phenomenon) deserve their own page. Some of the information I put on the Jim/Blair page was previously on Blair's page, but it really doesn't really belong on either of the character pages. It's SHARED info.

Another problem is I don't know how to make a page with a slash in the title be a subcategory.

(Possibly there is a more specific venue to which I could be dedicating this musing.)

Anyway, hi! I've been contributing to Jim's and Blair's pages the last few days, moving over the info I had on my Sentinel Fun Facts page. I think Fanlore is a place people might start thinking to go if they need some info for a fic and they want to see if canon has an answer or if they can make it up, so it's a good idea to consolidate all that nitty-gritty detail like Jim's badge number, etc. there. I'm still undecided about moving the silly timelines. They're largely speculative, after all. Would people find that useful?

I would be happy to move this to a subpage if you like. Just let me know. I think the idea of having pairing subpages is cool, because you can talk about about the fandom in them instead of being limited to the show.

In the future, how would one start a page with a slash in the title, or do they always have to be moved manually afterward?

You already did one when you did Jim/Blair. *g* It's the subpage thing I am still working on. I have a question out to the group about what will happen when I try to move it, if I will get The Sentinel-->Jim/Blair, which is what I want, or The Sentinel-->Jim-->Blair, which I don't. And I am nervous enough that I don't want to just try it and see.
