I love working within constraints. I've posted to rentafangirl, and I do still need to get in my 12in2008 (though I'm not too worried about that), so I thought I'd ask you: what, dear flist, would you like to see me write or draw?

(This is an ongoing offer, so don't feel like you have to come up with something on the spot. Also, it should be noted that I won't necessarily get to every request, at least not in good time, and that the end product might be a bit different from the original concept. But I do try to be as true as possible to the letter if not the spirit of my prompts.)

Fic: Pick a fandom (list below), pick a simple prompt (keyword, concept, whatever), and (optional) pick a genre (angst, romance, adventure, crack, kidnapped!blair, etc.--bonus points if it's an unlikely [but not impossible] genre for the fandom/prompt).

Drawings: I'll take simple requests for short (approx 1 page) comics (example), or you can suggest a fic for me to illustrate (example).

Fandoms: My main interests are Stargate: Atlantis (John/Rodney, primarily, but I'll entertain other pairings) and The Sentinel (Jim/Blair, and I won't entertain other pairings). I also have canon knowledge of, and would like to try, if anyone's interested: Due South (Fraser/RayK), House (House/Wilson), Xena (Xena/Gabrielle), Boy Meets World (Cory/Shawn), Sports Night (Dan/Casey), Star Trek: TNG (I have no OTP, your choice), Doogie Howser M.D. (I am completely serious about this), Demon Under Glass (if you insist)

Things I won't do: Non-slash pairings (f/f, sure, but no m/f, and honestly? probably no gen). Sexually explicit drawings (I'll imply, but not show; all bets are off in fic, however). Most crossovers (but try me). I don't think I have any real squicks, except for doing anything too similar to something I've done before.

The things I want, you can't give me!

But here's something I think would be hilarious to read from you: lists made by different characters. Specifically, I am interested in (but not limited to):

Blair: list of research topics/interests; schedule (like the one I make for my semesters - I imagine he's even more busy than I am! And still has time to make Jim breakfast!)

Jim: list of people with Christmas gifts he intends to get for them.

Rodney: list of people who have offended him in his life (and the offenses, and how he plans to someday punish them in an appropriate and yet untraceable manner. You can only use "win Nobel prize" once!)

John: whatever you'd like.

Ronon: whatever you'd like, but I do want a list!

Ray: list of things Fraser has tasted for no apparent reason

Fraser: list of times he's broken some minor code in the RCMP codebook or in his moral code, and why.

Other lists up to your discretion (Casey and Dan ones would rock, as would lists from secondary characters like Jeremy, Elizabeth, Simon, etc).

Don't know how specific a prompt you want. I may have mentioned I'd kill for some Jim/Blair where not only doesn't Blair get attacked, beaten, kidnapped or humiliated, but he's like actually competent and guidy and smart and assertive.

If you get inspired, a long or at least long-ish Stargate Atlantis John/Rodney amnesia fic.... I don't care which one has amnesia but maybe John rather than Rodney, this time. Also, it could be either "canonical" (based on Atlantis) or some version of AU (based on earth, different professions, family backgrounds, etc.).
