Sentinel chat highlights

zelempaSo a 1999 Sci-Fi chat with Richard Burgi and Garrett Maggart is here, but it's a little hard to sift through as they seemed to have a lot of technical problems. Anyway, here are the highlights:
Q: Richard and Garett, we miss you together! Would you team up again for another show, and if so, what roles would you like to play?
RICHARD: I'd be happy playing anything with him
GARRETT: I'd like to do a Lucy and Ricky thing
GARRETT: I want to be Lucy
RICHARD: I'd do anything with him
Q: Garrett, in a previous chat, you said that you wished they had developed the relationship between Jim and Blair a bit further in the 4th season. If there is a 5th season, what aspects of that relationship would you like to expand on or go into?
GARRETT: The hands on stuff. Touching...You know...ACTION
Q: Danny and Paul said there was a bit too much addlibbing that went on occasionally. Did they try to say "cut it out?"
RICHARD: All the time
GARRETT: Nobody ever told me not to ad lib
RICHARD: We were given the jobs because we could ad lib
RICHARD: That was encouraged because it made the show work
RICHARD: Then they got scared of the content and looked to the actors as the problem
The page cuts out just as someone's asking if they're best friends off screen as well as on, but they seem to certainly like each other.

on 2007-09-25 12:00 pm (UTC)You know the famous Burgi quote about if the show had contiinued Jim and Blair would've ended up in bed together? And that if the script called for a 'liplock' with Blair/GM, he's a secure in his sexuality man of the nineties and wouldn't have a problem with that?
I tell you, if it'd been left to GM and RB, our canon would have had (more) slash as canon.
