"Blair closes [the door] after her and turns to Jim with a big grin. 'So I guess the orchids worked!' 'Yeah. For you?' 'Oh, yeah.' I think when you're each scoring sex with the same bouquet of flowers, you may be too close."

I absolutely love the irreverant way you review these episodes. It makes me giggle very much.
I friended you, if you don't mind.

Lila was a Praying Mantis masquerading as a woman, who targeted virgins on a Buffy episode...

Ahem. Moving on.

I imagine Jim called the flower shop and dictated a note and it's the shop assistant's handwriting, if that helps Jim's image ::g::

I like this episode, even if Jim and Lila/ Blair and Sam, makes it hard to see Jim and Blair together at this point ::pouts::

And our canon rocks :-))

They have an open relationship? *gives big hopeful Blair eyes*

You're probably right about the flower shop. We've seen Jim's handwriting before, anyway, in Prisoner X and in the one with the elevator, I think, and both times he wrote in big manly all-caps.

I always wonder just when he orders them; he starts to, gets the call about the monk, goes to monk, collapses, wakes in hospital, and they're delivered while he's in bed. So he must have ordered them by cell phone in the car on the way to the body with Blair beside him.

Romantic.

That's a good point. I don't know whether to be sadder for Lila or for Blair.

::g:: The actress who played Lila guest starred on a Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode and that was what she was; this giant Praying Mantis who looked like a sexy human and lured young male virgins (like Xander) to her lair.
