TS Big Bang Art Post!

I guess it's my posting date somewhere. Time for some Sentinel Big Bang art!

My story was Baby Steps by raine. It was a pleasure to draw for! Raine is great to work with. I did the interior illustrations in brush and ink--MAYBE a kidfic was not the best time to practice my Sin City style huge swaths of black? NO I DO NOT AGREE--and the cover was a total experiment in pairing my old prisma markers with my brand new Pentel brush pen. I have decided that I love my brand new Pentel brush pen. Experiment declared a success!

I like your illustrations a lot. They have vigor and the emotions are really clear , and Cody is entirely proportional, which is harder than it looks if some of the dreadful things I've seen in pro comics are anything to judge by.

Thanks! I do have some problems with proportions and body positions (auuuugh exorcist Jim in third illustration auuuuugh), but every day, it's a getting closer, etc.

The illos are GREAT! And I love the colors in the cover one - it really pops with the strong line work and deep colors. And the expressions - priceless! :)

Hey, thanks! I was sort of forced into the level of contrast by the shades of the markers that I owned, but I like it too, so I'm glad. And I'm glad you liked it! :D

These are STUNNING! I'm particularly fond of the first one (little sleepy baby feet make me coo!) but they all are impressive at conveying the emotion of the scenes!
