He looks gorgeous now.

Um... What are you saying? Do you like him better with short curly hair than the long ponytail? To me he was still the same annoying git he was in the earlier episodes.

Annoying is much easier to take when it's coming from cute.

But I always found him kind of a tragic figure. He's Rodney, except he's always wrong.

I'm saying!

Yeah, he was a lot more sympathetic here, even though he still screwed up. I think one reason he may have been so crabby and annoying on Atlantis was that he was deeply unhappy there. I don't think he's unattractive in photo #1-- it's more the facial expression and body language than the hair. For me anyway.

He's unhappy on Midway too. You can see him lightening up at the end of the episode, when it's destroyed. :) I'd like to see him placed somewhere where he's competent and valued -- Rodney or someone could stumble on him there and be like, "Wh.....a?" It'd be like Lizzie Bennett going to Pemberley. (Okay, maybe not exactly.)

I always liked him, actually. He made some damn good points about the way things were being done. And letting Ronon go to torture him... oh, Elizabeth. ::shakes head sadly::

He did make good points! He presented them obnoxiously, but that doesn't mean the ideas weren't logical. *sigh*
