Your ep reviews make me grin out loud. I love the 'roundup' thing at the end, too.
He got an automatic extension due to the department chair being out of town (because that's how that works), so he has plenty of time to ignore his project now!
The writers on this ep just outdid themselves -- the gang stuff was so who-cares, and Blair's project was pretty much the antithesis of science (or of a project of any kind -- 'ignoring the project' is so dead-on).
BLAIR: I'm all yours, little buddy! JIM: That's a very generous offer, but I think you'd be a little in over your head.
Seriously? Seriously, they--oh, the case. The case, everyone.
