My brother and I used to challenge ourselves to write the shortest possible story we could with a beginning, middle, and end. (We also had a challenge where we would use as many words as possible to advance as little actual action as possible, but that's neither here nor there.) We always found it fun although I can't remember a single one of those stories now. Conciseness (concision?) is an art form, and I admire it, even though I'm pretty bad at it myself.

So I approve of [livejournal.com profile] toomuchplor's Hemingway-inspired multifandom six word story challenge. I thought of participating but I thought if I did TS the primarily SGA and SPN people there might look at me askance. But! [livejournal.com profile] cross_stitchery now has a TS version of same. Go forth, minions! It's only six words!
